May the 4th Be With You – Battle 4 Democracy Chants
A long time ago in a galaxy not so far away… people stood up to tyranny with nothing but hope and heart. This May the 4th, Rescue Our Democracy invites all Jedi, Rebels, and democracy defenders to join the resistance at the Iowa State Capitol. No costumes required (but we won’t stop you if you show up with a lightsaber). We’re here for peaceful protest, not pod racing — and we mean business. Let’s channel the Force and remind those in power that the people are the resistance, and we’re not backing down.

Whether you chant like a Jedi, rhyme like Rob Base, or simply speak from your heart, your voice matters. These chants are more than words — they’re energy, unity, and resistance in motion. Use them loud, proud, and with purpose. Let them echo through our streets and carry our cause into every corner of the Capitol. And remember: protests may be temporary, but people-powered movements are legendary. Keep the rhythm. Keep the fire. Keep showing up — because it still takes two… and the Force still fights for the many.
