We’ve always worked to help others organize, speak up, and take action. We never planned to ask for help for ourselves. But now, we need a rescue too.

Until now, we privately funded all of this. However, a sudden emergency made it impossible to cover the upcoming renewal alone. We never wanted to be in this position, but the timing leaves us no choice.

Our web hosting must be renewed by August 1 to keep Rescue Our Democracy alive for the next three years. This hosting doesn’t just support us — it also makes it possible to offer free, basic 3-page websites to up to 20 small, emerging groups that can’t afford their own space online yet. This is one way we rescue voices that might otherwise stay silent.

Right now, we’re short $650 for hosting and $300 for the Jetpack Complete plug-in. Jetpack keeps our site secure, backed up, and connected to social media. Without it, we lose reach and protection. With it, we can rescue our platform’s strength and keep your data safe.

So far, one Guerilla (me) and a couple of dedicated helpers have carried this mission. We’ve done a lot with very little. But this time, we can’t do it alone.

Many of us believe in small government. That means the government protects our rights but does not tell us how to live our lives.

A lot of people voted MAGA because they wanted small government. They wanted freedom and local control. But what did we get? More rules. More spying. More people telling us what we can and cannot do.

This is not small government. This is Big Brother.

They Take Power Away From Local People

Real small government trusts local people. It trusts towns to decide what is best for their schools, libraries, and hospitals.

But now, far-away lawmakers are making rules about what kids can learn. They want to pick what books we can read. They want to cut care in small towns. Many small hospitals might close because of these harsh rules. This hurts people who live far from big cities.

They Want Your Private Health Data

Some companies give workers smart watches or fitness trackers. They say it will help you stay healthy. But these devices collect a lot of private information. They know where you are, what you do, and how you feel.

Insurance companies can use this data to charge people more. Big companies can share this data with others. Some leaders even talked about “digital health passes” to show if you can enter places.

This means the government or big business can know too much about you. That is not freedom. That is not small government.

They Talk About Freedom — But Take It Away

These leaders say they want freedom. But look around. They make more laws about what we can say. They pass rules that shut down clinics. They want to watch our private lives.

That is not freedom. That is Big Brother.

We Still Need You — And We Welcome You

If you voted for small government, you were right to want freedom. You were right to want less control from Washington or the statehouse.

But we cannot get real freedom alone. We need each other. We welcome you to stand with us. Let’s say no to Big Brother. Let’s say yes to local power. Let’s protect our towns, our families, and our freedom.

What we’re being distracted from includes callous remarks from powerful figures like Mitch McConnell and Joni Ernst—utterances meant to dominate headlines and sow outrage, all while real crises rage on.

Just this month, Sen. Joni Ernst casually told an Iowa constituent worried about Medicaid cuts, “Well, we are all going to die”. Then she filmed a sarcastic Instagram apology in a graveyard—mocking public concern while Congress debated slashing health care for millions.

These are the bloody distractions—the pages they want us to read, while far more dangerous truths slip through the cracks.

This is a real, published plan by far-right operatives to dismantle federal protections and hand unchecked power to the presidency. It includes purging civil servants, ending agency independence, and reshaping government to obey one man. If implemented, democracy as we know it won’t survive.

4. The Epstein Network and Elite Immunity

Jeffrey Epstein didn’t operate alone. Client names were sealed. Investigations stalled. Media outlets cut stories. Politicians and billionaires walk free while survivors wait for justice. This isn’t old news — it’s an ongoing cover-up.

5. Ukraine War Fatigue While War Profiteering Soars

Russia’s invasion continues to kill and displace. Meanwhile, defense contractors rake in billions. We fund this war, suffer from inflation, and get none of the truth. It’s not just a battlefield — it’s a business.

6. Operation Buy Back Billionaires (OBBB)

Policies are quietly passed that enrich the ultra-wealthy: no-bid contracts, deregulation, tax loopholes, and weakened watchdogs. Billionaires are buying influence, media silence, and pieces of the country. That’s what we’re being distracted from — on purpose.

Supreme Court justices like Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito have accepted undisclosed luxury gifts and have close ties to political donors. And yet, no consequences. The highest court is operating without oversight — and the public is largely unaware.

8. Climate Collapse Tipping Points

We’re at the edge: Arctic ice loss, coral bleaching, deep ocean heating, and methane emissions are all accelerating. But instead of real solutions, we get watered-down climate pledges and fossil fuel expansions. This isn’t about tomorrow — it’s already here.

9. AI and the Militarization of Everything

Artificial intelligence is now a weapon, a surveillance tool, and a labor disruptor. Companies like Palantir, Google, and Amazon are building systems used to kill, profile, or displace. The ethical guardrails? Missing.
