They Promised Small Government — But We Got Big Brother
Many of us believe in small government. That means the government protects our rights but does not tell us how to live our lives.
A lot of people voted MAGA because they wanted small government. They wanted freedom and local control. But what did we get? More rules. More spying. More people telling us what we can and cannot do.
This is not small government. This is Big Brother.
They Take Power Away From Local People
Real small government trusts local people. It trusts towns to decide what is best for their schools, libraries, and hospitals.
But now, far-away lawmakers are making rules about what kids can learn. They want to pick what books we can read. They want to cut care in small towns. Many small hospitals might close because of these harsh rules. This hurts people who live far from big cities.
They Want Your Private Health Data
Some companies give workers smart watches or fitness trackers. They say it will help you stay healthy. But these devices collect a lot of private information. They know where you are, what you do, and how you feel.
Insurance companies can use this data to charge people more. Big companies can share this data with others. Some leaders even talked about “digital health passes” to show if you can enter places.
This means the government or big business can know too much about you. That is not freedom. That is not small government.
They Talk About Freedom — But Take It Away
These leaders say they want freedom. But look around. They make more laws about what we can say. They pass rules that shut down clinics. They want to watch our private lives.
That is not freedom. That is Big Brother.
We Still Need You — And We Welcome You
If you voted for small government, you were right to want freedom. You were right to want less control from Washington or the statehouse.
But we cannot get real freedom alone. We need each other. We welcome you to stand with us. Let’s say no to Big Brother. Let’s say yes to local power. Let’s protect our towns, our families, and our freedom.
Together, we can rescue our democracy. We can bring back real small government — for all of us.
