Who runs this joint?

Right now, I’m the sole person behind this initiative. I started this site with a clear mission: to unite Iowa’s voices in the fight for our democracy. While I’m open to the nation utilizing this platform, I noticed a significant gap in organization within our state and felt compelled to step up. I know my strengths lie in organizing and planning, and I’m fortunate to have the backing of a generous web host providing free support for this cause.

However, I can’t do this alone. I’m reaching out to individuals who are passionate about our democracy to join me in organizing efforts. Additionally, I welcome collaboration with other groups that share our vision. Together, we can amplify our impact and work more effectively towards meaningful change.​

Why should I bother?

The urgency of our mission has been underscored by the developments of Project 2025. According to the Project 2025 Tracker, approximately 36% of the project’s objectives have already been implemented, with an additional 19% in progress. This means that over half of the project’s goals are either completed or underway, highlighting the pressing need for coordinated action.​

Everyone is unorganized!

I understand the frustration and challenges that come with organizing and mobilizing for change. That’s precisely why RescueOurDemocracy.com exists—to provide a platform for us to come together, share resources, and strategize effectively. While I may not have the funds for permits, speaker fees, or equipment, I believe that our collective effort and determination can overcome these obstacles.​

Our goal is clear: to unite, grow our movement, and enact serious changes in response to the challenges posed by initiatives like Project 2025. We are stronger together, and by pooling our skills, resources, and passion, we can make a tangible difference.​
