Welcome to the Rescue Our Democracy Events Calendar—your go-to space for upcoming rallies, town halls, community meetings, volunteer opportunities, and more. Right now, we’re spotlighting events happening across Iowa and SW California, where our movement is rooted and growing strong. But democracy doesn’t stop at state lines. If you’d like to help maintain an events calendar for your own state, we’d love to connect! Reach out to us at volunteer@rescueourdemocracy.com to get started.

Postcard Meet Up – Vote Yes on Prop 50 (Encinitas, CA)

September 16 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am PDT

Join us in Encinitas to write postcards in support of Governor Newsom’s Prop 50, The Election Rigging Response Act. With the special election on November 4 and ballots arriving in early October, your messages can make a real difference!

We provide everything you need: postcards, pens, markers, voter addresses, instructions, scripts, and a limited supply of stamps. Can’t stay to write in person? Pick up a packet to complete on your own, or arrange an alternate pickup—just DM the host in advance.

A core principle of all Indivisible events is nonviolent action. Participants are expected to de-escalate any disagreements and maintain a safe, respectful environment while standing up for our shared values

This calendar is more than a list of dates—it’s a living map of action, connection, and collective power. Whether you’re showing up for the first time or organizing on the frontlines, you are part of something bigger. Let’s keep building momentum together, one event—and one voice—at a time.

Disclaimer on Partisanship
Rescue Our Democracy is proud to be an Indivisible group. While we strongly advocate for protecting democracy, we are committed to remaining nonpartisan in how we share voter information. Our mission is to educate and empower all voters to understand their choices and participate fully in our democracy.

That means you may see events, forums, or candidate appearances from across the political spectrum included in our calendar. Their presence does not represent an endorsement by Rescue Our Democracy. Instead, it reflects our belief that informed voters are the foundation of a healthy democracy.
